The Need to know about Advocacy Day at CCV

Your Business is a Witness. Bring Your Voice to Columbus!

Your leadership doesn't end at the office door. As a Christian business owner, you manage more than payroll and P&L statements; you steward a platform for the Gospel in the marketplace. Yet, while you build your community, activists and lobbyists in Columbus are working to undermine the values that make your business possible.

On Wednesday, March 25, the Christian Business Partnership (the Partnership) is hosting an Advocacy Day in Columbus. This is a high-impact event built to bring the truth of the Word into the halls of government. It’s time our leaders hear from the men and women who actually drive Ohio’s economy.

The Mission in the Capital

Most business leaders feel the weight of bad policy but don't know how to stop it. We are changing that. Led by James Banko and the Center for Christian Virtue (CCV) Policy team, this day is an educational intensive designed to move you from the sidelines to the front lines.

You will learn:

  • The Mechanics: How Ohio’s state government actually functions behind the closed doors of committee rooms.
  • The Mandate: Why advocating for righteousness is a vital tool for the Christian leader.
  • The Connection: Practical strategies for building lasting, fearless relationships with the men and women representing you.

The Game Plan

We have built a schedule that balances deep-dive training with real-world application:

  • 9:30 AM: Doors open. Enjoy coffee and networking in the CCV Office Atrium.
  • 9:45 AM: Advocacy Presentation Program with the CCV Team.
  • 11:00 AM: Put your training into action. We head to the Statehouse for our scheduled meetings with legislators.
  • 12:15 PM: Reconvene for lunch and hear a presentation from our special guest.
  • 1:30 PM: Join us for the Senate Session, where the Senate President is scheduled to officially recognize the Christian Business Partnership from the floor.

Secure Your Spot

Space is strictly limited to 25–30 attendees to ensure every member has a high-quality experience.
